Posting revenues of Rs 80 crore in 2000-01 as against Rs 59 crore in 1999-00, Color Copi saw a growth of nearly 35 percent. For the present fiscal also, the company hopes to maintain a healthy growth rate. And it plans to achieve this by not just pushing boxes but also by concentrating on services.
Color Copi has been a major distributor for printers in Mumbai. However, it has now added PCs, processors, HDDs, monitors and digital cameras.
Last fiscal saw company's revenues coming mainly from western region followed by the northern and southern region. The company appointed a large number of channel partners and plans to open up new service centers in the current fiscal.
The company also plans to control its inventory and make sure that the profitability is streamlined. Hyundai has appointed Color Copi as its exclusive dealer in the country, certainly a feather in the cap for the distributor.
