Accel ICIM recorded a total turnover of Rs 139 crore, against Rs 120 crore last year, growing at a rate of 17 percent. Revenues came from three broad areas - systems, services and peripherals. Total systems sales accounted for Rs 70 crore. Services and peripherals brought in Rs 55 Crore. However, the company's agency revenue stood at Rs 74 crore compared to last year's Rs 70
crore.
To have an edge over its competitors, Accel ICIM has got on to deliver solutions tailored for specific business needs. The focus is on to become a services specialist. Its systems integration capabilities span the life cycle of a solution, from requirement analysis through solution development, installation, roll out, and maintenance.
Accel ICIM also signed up strategic alliances with global IT giants including IBM, HP and Sun, to provide hardware and system solutions.
The company offers solutions for various vertical industry segments such as manufacturing, banking/finance, healthcare, ISPs and Telecom. It also manufactures Mastermind series, which includes high-end servers, at the company facility in
Pondicherry.
Among several projects executed by Accel's team, the call center management system, a turnkey solutions essentially handled for BPL is worth mentioning. The application, which is an Interactive Voice Response System using the VPSIC platform, caters to a customer's Call Center requirements effectively. Total systems integration was carried out using IVR technology from Periphonic Inc., a US based company, which is solely represented in India by Accel ICIM. Besides, the company has also executed turnkey projects for BHEL, McNally Bharat Engineering, KJ hospitals, Hindustan Paper Mills and many others.
