Having been appointed exclusive national distributors of Western Digital, the company is currently working on expanding its national footprint while also trying to jump the retail bandwagon

Mediaman Group of companies saw YoY growth of about 43 percent in the last fiscal. Continuing its focus in storage related segment they managed to tie-up with Western Digital. They are now the exclusive national distributor for Western Digital.

The focus this year was more on branch expansion rather than making new additions to the product offering. The company's branch number surged by almost three fold, increasing its presence in 27 places from 10 previously.

Product-wise the laptop segment saw a huge boost in revenue of 50 percent. With the consumer electronics market exploding, Mediaman claims to have experienced a 200 percent growth in their flash memory cards segment. Convergence of technology is today driving consumer markets and consumer electronic market is seeing an exponential growth.

The focus area of the company seems to be particularly in the east and northeast regions.

Keeping in sync with the trends of the market, Mediaman is also trying to make the most of the retail boom. The retail share of the company strengthened by 50 percent and they are confident that the rally will continue for another five years.

They also claim to have a strong channel network of around 1,500 partners across the country and are also working on expanding it.

Mediaman is a stable company that has experienced steady, consistent, progressive growth in sales revenue since its inception.

The company actively promotes Mediaman brand name and products to both the computer industry and directly to the consumers.

Mediaman is currently focusing on the future, and looking to deliver products and services to keep them at the forefront of the industry.

Based on the increasing demand of storage solutions, memory solutions, flash cards and drives, laptops and PDA accessories, digicams/camcorders, LCD monitors and digital lifestyle products, the company is boldly leaning all set to explore the opportunities available.
