5.Netlink Business System :Raising The Bar

The company acquired Imagination Infotech, tied up with Sun and executed projects for some big names

Registering an estimated growth of 20 percent last fiscal, Netlink Business Systems reportedly had a turnover of Rs 164 crore in 2006-07, posting a growth of 16 percent. The company has recently acquired Imagination Infotech. It has also tied-up with Sun Microsystems and is in dialogues to set-up an alliance with Oracle for their currently fast upcoming versatile business solutions.

Netlink has executed projects for General Electric, Hero Corporate Services, NIIT Group, Oberoi Group of Hotels, Bechtel, Vanguard, HCL Group, BBC, SCOPE, Khodays, Li and Fung, Le-Meriden, Radisson, Multimedia Super Corridor, DHL, BHEL, and other Indian and International companies.

Observing the surmounting business opportunities in Chennai (for its growing automotive industry) in Bangalore (for being a software paradise) and Hyderabad (for a major IT industry), Netlink has opened three new offices in these locations. The company has its operations that is spread across 19 cities in the country and has its product development facilities in Malaysia and the US.

Netlink earns a major share of its revenue from the US market, which is followed by North India and then South India. The company is next moving towards the Middle East market for which it claims to be moving with the right approach.

After the tie-up with Imagination Infotech, the manpower strength of the company has shot up to 500. it is aiming to move forward with the team with a consolidated approach.
