10.Vitage Systems :Support Matters

Realizing the potential of domestic IT application management and infrastructure services, the Vitage Group floated a new entity called Vitage Technologies last fiscal and established a remote management center

Realizing the potential of domestic IT application management and infrastructure services, the Vitage Group floated a new entity called Vitage Technologies in the last fiscal. The new entity added to the revenue stream and the company clocked total revenueof Rs 120 crore, as compared to 104 in the previous fiscal.

With continued focus on services, Vitage established a remote management center and also got it assessed through the ISO 20000-1(ITSM/ITIL). This boosted the company's confidence and it appears that service will continue to be a prime focus for this group in the next fiscal as well.

While the IT/ITeS seemed to be the biggest revenue generator, other verticals like manufacturing, telecom, healthcare, media, hospitality, BFSI and retail added to the revenue figures.

Providing comprehensive support and infrastructure service to customers continued to be the key differentiator for the company last fiscal and managed services added to the customer satisfaction. Increased technical focus, improved customer relationships and an efficient support team helped Vitage increase its overall business in the last fiscal.

The company continued to build on its collaborations with IBM, Lenovo, HP, Cisco, Systimax, Molex, Wildpackets, Nitix, Microsoft, CA and EMC while also looking at new possible tie-ups. Currently working with almost 500 employees, the company hopes to double its headcount during the next fiscal in order to help it in delivering services efficiently to customers.
