Digital imaging company Canon India recently held the 'Canon Power Champ Meet', an exclusive event for Canon dealers.

The two-day meet held at Bambolim Beach Resort in Goa is the first of its kind to be organized by any company to celebrate and acknowledge the commitment and dedication of Canon sales dealers as they represent the company to Canon consumers. Canon dealers across the country traveled for this meet, where they were part of different team building and training programs. As a part of this, Canon organized tour de' Goa and a treasure hunt for the participants.

Rachna Datta, Manager-Product Marketing, Canon India said, “We at Canon believe our channel partners are an extended team. We understand the invaluable role they play in our organizations success and that their support has been a key reason for our steady performance. This meet is a small gesture to acknowledge and show our appreciation for their support.”

Canon believes in sharing knowledge with their dealers through regular training programs. Hence, training sessions were an integral part of the event. The winners at the event were also declared and felicitated.

Datta further added, “Canon values partners who are looking for a long term relationship with the company. For a healthy business environment, balance of expectations and deliverables need to be met and maintained consistently to develop faith and mutual respect in the relationship. The Goa event was an initiative from us in the same direction.”
