McAfee announced the launch of its Total Protection for Network (MTPN), designed to end the 'appliance and product fatigue' associated with deploying, maintaining and managing multiple security solutions. The suite includes the McAfee M-8000 Network Security Platform, formerly known as IntruShield and the McAfee Content Security Blade Server, announced separately.

MTPN protects and controls a company's enterprise network. The solution provides network protection for the entire network infrastructure, blocks attacks, stops spam and web threats, cleans e-mail, protects unpatched systems and offers solution to help meet regulatory compliance, including PCI. MTPN is available in versions for both enterprises and mid-sized businesses.
