CMDA organized the annual Diwali Mela 2008 on Oct 18, 2008 in Pune. Intel
sponsored the event, which was exclusively for CMDA members and their families.
The event was comprised of entertainment programs, dance, music, quiz, games,
live orchestra, magic shows, jugglery, etc. Prizes and gifts were distributed to
every one present in the event.
This year onwards, CMDA has decided to encourage all the children of CMDA
member in field of education and sports, by way of recognizing and encouraging
them by 'CMDA Gaurav Award'. The event was managed by Debu Banerjee, Joint
Treasurer, CMDA.
