Delivering critical knowledge on areas related to working capital management

Delivering critical knowledge on areas related to working capital management, the Progressive Channels Association of Information Technology (PCAIT) workshop attracted close to 40 channel players from the Delhi region. It was the second workshop in a series of four events designed to equip the IT channel when it comes to handling critical issues in finance. Speaking at the workshop Anshuman Shankar, VP-Business Banking at Yes Bank said that there are a lot of things that bankers look for while lending money to prospects. “Lot of people just believe that bankers look for profit and loss.

Well, it's more than just that. Most banks now look for the operating profit, the cash profits and profitability versus tax orientation,” he added. “These are typically the areas that are usually overlooked by many of us channel players. So it is really good to know the details of such critical issues from the experts of the industry,” explained, Saket Kapur, MD, Green Vision. After having taken the responsibility of working for the benefit of IT channel community, PCAIT has engaged itself towards delivering knowledge on business critical topics such as financial management and working capital management. The next in series workshop will focus towards ratio analysis and fund flow statements.
