Polaris Software Lab has entered into a partnership with Interwoven Inc to integrate Interwoven

Polaris Software Lab has entered into a partnership with Interwoven Inc to integrate Interwoven's advanced content management solutions with its products to provide enhanced customer experience to its clients. Interwoven provides enterprise content management solutions for businesses to solve critical challenges across departments, enterprises, or industries. Polaris is a global solutions specialist with a dedicated focus on the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) vertical.
Under the agreement, Polaris will work as a systems integrator (SI) for Interwoven products and is the only Indian company to have trained resources on all products. Polaris Software Lab Senior VP, SR Ramaswami said, “We recommend ECM solutions to BFSI customers by integrating products like TeamSite for web content management, WorkSite for collaboration and document management, MetaTagger for content intelligence and MediaBin for digital asset management depending on important stage of the customer in the journey of ECM. A customer may choose to start from web content management and proceed to digital asset management or vice versa.”

Some of the benefits that accrue to companies using the ECM solution include compliance, operational efficiency, accelerated time to market and effective brand management. “Content management fosters efficiency and effectiveness in the search process. With TeamSite and WorkSite users can reach the records in just 15-20 seconds. It is especially helpful for lawyers and even the government,” Ramaswami added.
Throwing light on the partnership between the two companies, Interwoven Country Manager-India, Sunil Chavan said, “The two companies have conceived the solution together. Interwoven has contributed the technology and the packaging of the solution, while Polaris will undertake implementation and support.”
Polaris plans to go global with its ECM practice. The company is already present in APAC and plans to venture into EMEA and then US. In the next two years, Polaris is going to increase its consultant headcount for content management solutions to 500. A significant chunk of this would work on the Interwoven solution.
