Samsung India today announced the launch of its 'Eye Fresh Technology' (EFT) monitors in the Indian market. Available in 15" and 17" screen sizes, the Samsung EFT monitors are differentiated on account of their unique Magic Green technology. The Monitors have a vital coating on the rear that emits Anions and Far Infrared rays that serve to make the environment fresh, relax the human body and ease the strain on human eyes.

"Product innovation, technology leadership and design represent the pillars of our brand strategy and our EFT monitor range is another fitting example of this approach," said R Zutshi, Deputy MD, Samsung India.

The Samsung EFT Monitors are differentiated not only on account of their Magic Green technology but also their stylish, extremely compact design and consumer friendly features like Magic Tune and sRGB. The Samsung 594MG (15" Magic Green) and 794MG (17" Magic Green), available in Ivory, Black and Silver tone, come with a stand type multimedia speaker having a stylish design. The market prices for 594MG and 794MG are Rs 4,500 and Rs 5,550- respectively.

Samsung also announced the launch of the world's slimmest CDT monitor, 'Magic Green Slim' monitor, 704MS Plus in the Indian market. The 'Magic Green Slim' with its sleek and innovative design, has a depth of mere 358mm. This 17" Health friendly Green monitor has a two-layer coating, which emits FIR and Anions that relax the eyes and body. The Silver Nano Coating serves to remove odors from the environment, making the air fresh and clean.

The MagicBright technology in the Magic Green Slim Monitor allows for change in screen brightness to suit multiple applications. The technology offers specialized settings for four highly used applications - movie mode; game mode; Internet mode and text mode. The Highlight zone III feature in the 704MS Plus allows automatic highlighting of video clips and movies by controlling brightness anywhere in the screen with simple mouse control. With Magic Bright and 500cd/m² of high brightness, the Samsung Magic Green Monitor allows the user to enjoy a movie or DVD more vividly. The retail price for the Samsung Magic Green slim monitor is Rs 6,700.

With the introduction of the new EFT range and the Magic Green slim monitor, Samsung now has a range of 14" CDT Monitors in its lineup, available in 15", 17", 19" and 21", priced in the range between Rs 4500 to Rs 28,000.

"We are giving a strong thrust to our Volume Business this year by launching innovative, new products in both CDT and LCD monitor categories, aggressive consumer oriented schemes and by expanding our channel, especially in upcountry and non metro towns," said Sanjay Sharma, VP - IT Business, Samsung India.
