A series of bomb blasts ripped through the Walled City of Jaipur, killing over 80 people and injuring around 200 people last week. The city has since been under curfew, but that has not deterred the channel partners of the Pink City to come and do their bit.

When contacted to enquire about the channel partners in Jaipur, Hira Singh, Public Relation Officer, RCTA (Rajasthan Computer Traders Association) said, “Thankfully none of the partners have been affected by the blast.”

When asked what the association was doing to aid the victims, Singh said, “At the association level we were not able to do much but at the individual level, everyone did their part. Partners reached out to the victims by offering all kinds of help be it monetary or any services needed. Members of RCTA donated money and blood to the victims.”

Elaborating about what the association did he added, “We sent innumerable SMSes to people we knew for help.”

Citing an example he said, “At the hospital where victims were being hospitalized there was a need for O negative blood group but unfortunately there was a lack of that in the blood bank. We sent this message to as many people we knew and finally help was rendered.”

Arvind Modi of Bits & Bytes, Jaipur also reiterated that none of the partners had been affected by the blasts. When asked whether the business would be affected due to the curfew that had been imposed he said, “Everything is back to normal and the business has not been affected as such.”
