Transcend Information revealed its 300X CompactFlash card, with flash memory cards.

“Photographers and other power users, both seek powerful memory and enhanced performance. Being responsive to our customer's evolving needs, Transcend's 300X CompactFlash card delivers good read and write speeds making consecutive shooting and non-stop video recording easier, with today's high-performance digital single-lens reflex cameras (DSLR) cameras a breeze. We are confident that our customers will appreciate the performance and reliability that it offers,” claimed Austin Huang, Regional Head-Sales, SAARC and APAC, Transcend.

The CompactFlash cards operate in dual-channel ultra DMA mode 5 (default setting) for CF cards. This interface allows Transcend's 300X CF cards achieve speeds of up to 45MBPS on an average. They are built with error correction code (ECC) that automatically detects and corrects errors during data transfer.

300X CF cards are now available in 4, 8 and 16GB capacities at Rs 3,800, 7,500 and 16,500, respectively in India with three-year warranty.
