In the recently held election of MP Telecom and Computer Traders Association, the existing executive committee has been re-elected. The committee consists of Manish Goyal from Byte Peripheral Systems as President, Sumit Gupta from Ontrack Systems as Secretary, Prithvi Wadhwani from Magnum Computers as VP, Raghvendra Tripathi from Hard N Soft Services as Joint Secretary and Jagdish Mantri from Apex Computers as Treasurer.

Members of the association unanimously decided to vote for the existing members.

Sharing the key focus area of the association for this year, Goyal commented that seeing as there has been increased expectation of customers regarding service issues, the association would take efforts to provide support to its members in elevating their service standards.

“We will try to help our members in drawing a line between their sales and service segment so that customers can avail better attention and the sales team can focus on increasing the profitability of the business,” he shared. He further said that the association would make efforts to bring all the dealers on one platform to resolve service issues.

The other area of concern for the association is to increase the profitability of small computer retailers who have been affected by the presence of large format retailers (LFRs). The members accorded that the team would work for the betterment of the trade and will collectively drive MPTCTA to new heights.

In the upcoming activities, the association is going to launch their website by the end of July this year. The website will comprise information about members and their businesses, and the registration of new members will be done through the site. The association will schedule the business and social events for the year including the IT Kumbh.

The election was held in the presence of election committee that included Rikhab Jain as the Chairman Nomination Committee and Vaibhav Nagori as the co chairman nomination committee.
