Mumbai: The Traders Association of IT (TAIT) Mumbai has announced the results of general body election, which was conducted last week. Girish Rathod of Compex Systems has been elected as one of the directors.
Rathod is the founder member of the TAIT and actively participating in every activities of the association since 12 years.
"Association members supported me and I won the election. I never contested against any body since 12 years. This time I decided to serve the association as a executive
member," said Rathod
He also said that their next concern is to solve problems faced by channels in the region.
"Next week all our members will meet for the first time after the elections to form a new committee for this year. We will also select the three co-operate directors for one year, who will assist the board of directors. We are going to discuss about the Large Format Retails (LFR) issues as
well," explained Rathod.
This year, election was conducted for three positions of directors. Four people have contested for the position of director, which was held by Parasrampuria. These include Sampath Iyengar of Sam 7 Infotech, Vinod Mulchandani of AarVee Computers, Girish Rathod of Compex Systems and Dilip Vanigotha. Anees Khalfay of Radiant Computer Technologies, Champakraj Gurjar of Maxtone Electronics, held the other two positions respectively. Nobody had filed the nomination against the two and for the reason that they will continue in the position for next three years.
