D-Link's i2eye DVC-1000 VideoPhone has been awarded the 2003 AeA High Tech Award by American Electronics Association (AeA) in the innovative product/technology category. The AeA High Tech Awards provide recognition to technology companies, their employees and outstanding individuals by acknowledging excellence in technology and leadership.

i2eye is an appliance that delivers IP videoconferencing capability for communicating face to face. It provides the ability to 'videospeak' locally or long distance over any broadband connection, delivering sound and images directly to the television screen. Designed to sit on top of the television, i2eye does not require a PC to operate and can be configured using a remote control and a setup wizard displayed on the television screen. An adjustable tilt/focus camera lens and an integrated microphone captures full-screen video and wide-coverage sound. The i2eye can capture video images up to 30 frames per second and is priced at Rs 29,950.
