SS.Munjral and G.S.Munjral both studied together from DPS, Mathura Road and completed further studies from St. Stephens College, Delhi University. Varinder Singh was a first class student from Cambridge College and GNDU, Amritsar who is also the backbone of Datavision and is responsible for handling the sales team in parts of Punjab, Delhi and Haryana.

It doesn’t matter whether you have been an A or D grader throughout your school/college life. At any point in life, you can evolve as ‘the greatest’ provided you feel determined for something worthy and work diligently explained Varinder Singh.

An idea to do something different, has always pushed three of them, to revolutionize the industry in their city of Golden Temple, Amritsar.

The spark ignited to start a business venture when idea was shared by a school friend of Gurpreet Singh who was then selling computer equipment in Nehru Place and to OEM companies.

Their focus was quality of the products that company supply to their esteemed customers. “We continue to remain at the helm through rigorous research and development. R&D labs at New Delhi and Amritsar explore and reinvent existing products and designs. Our state of the art production units ensure consistency and quality throughout the product range,” adds SS Munjral.

“It was a long and not at all easy task to find people, train and retain the right employees who really care about the organization the way we do,” explained Varinder Singh. It was not one challenge they faced but lack of infrastructure, babu mentality of surrounding environment, opposition to computerization and digitization, lack of adequate funding and no support from any government agency which somewhere forced to think.

Never give up on life. If at any point in life you feel losing the battle, think about the people who gave their best in situations which were tough; recharge your soul and continue the journey. It’s you who can help yourself to emerge as a winner. This is how these three professionals proved themselves. They expanded business in northern India and now company will shortly be launching its products in Jammu and Kashmir.

Since its inception, Datavision persistently worked on accomplishing one milestone after another. Established in 1991, they specialize in online and offline range of U.P.S. systems and other power conditioning equipment i.e. Digital invertors, digital and analog transformers for A.C., refrigerator, mainline and servo Stabilizers. Along with this they also run multiple stores for laptops and other IT products.

Stability, quality acceptance and brand recognition with the right business practices is what Datavision has achieved in all these years by giving more than 100%.

GS Munjral in a determined way expressed, “We are small but a highly motivated family whose concern is to work hard which has helped us in creating a platform for our dealers to be involved in our business activities, products and to be as passionate about our products as we are for them. We strongly care for dealers associated with us”.

These highly motivated professionals cater some policies in their work life such as consistent hard work, motivating dealers and quality work, along with saying no to shortcuts.

“Reading and spending time with our respective families is what we prefer always. Our respective families have a very special place not only in our hearts but in our success too. When we are at our lowest they always uplifted and supported us,” happily described Varinder Singh.

For young turks, owners of Datavision also shared some pearls of wisdom. Firstly, believe in yourself and your thoughts/visions; secondly, start small and be very focused and lastly, if you are hardworking and punctual, success will kiss your feet sooner or later. So, keep going! As, there is no shortcut to success so hard work and experience is something that no one can take away from Datavision.

With an objective of reaching out to different water needs of the society, the company has diversified its portfolio with the complete range of domestic as well as agriculture energy saving water pumps and company has aimed to explore day by day. By creating Datavision, a success story of reliability in power products has been created. Long way to go as the horizon is still far away.
