Driven by the amazing response and love for its digital cameras, Sony has introduced a new line-up of 34 Cyber-shot cameras. The range includes 8 models with Super High Zoom (upto 30X) and 8 with Compact High Zoom (10X). The High Zoom cameras promise an ultimate photography experience with crystal clear picture quality and finest details even in non-steady conditions.
Further strengthening its #1 slot in digital camera market, the company has introduced its commendable optical zoom with steadyshot, super quick focus, and superior intelligent auto technologies for capturing every moment in its full exuberance. Masaru Tamagawa, MD, Sony India, said, "With the High Zoom in our new cameras, photo enthusiasts can click blur-free crisp images even in difficult situations like moving objects." The company plans to gain 45% market share in FY12. Tamagawa said, "With Sony's sheer innovation, the cyber shot market is doing tremendous business in India, and we are targeting the specified market share. We will increase the distribution outlets to 3000 from the current 2500, and also increase our employee strength to 3800 by March 2013."
Coming in an array of scintillating colors, the new H, W, and S series will be available within a price range of Rs 5,490 to Rs 27,990 to suit every pocket.
The brand is all geared up for its multi-media campaign 'incredible zoom, incredible details' which is soon going to be launched all across India. Shot with a Brazilian celebratory theme, the campaign showcases brand ambassador Deepika Padukone capturing the true hues and liveliness of the carnival. The brand has invested Rs 50 crore for the advertisement and promotion of the cameras.
