While confirming the development and talking about his new role, Mamtani said, "My endeavor is to enable an ecosystem where we all work smarter and harder as a team, to see high speed growth in our revenue, profits and ViewSonic brand everywhere."

"We have set our future direction to focus on the commercial market for stable growth, higher profit with lower risk. We have a full range of touch displays, high resolution (QFHD) and IPS panel displays, and many of those models are shipping now. In addition, we are targeting to ship 4K2K products in Q4 2013 in India. More than 15 of our new models have been certified for Windows 8. In addition to the launch of the industry's first VSD220 smart display, we plan a range of digitizer displays for banking, graphic design and educational markets; lecture tables, e-classroom controls and camera systems, and a 65" smart white board. A full range of educational products are planned to ship within the next few months," Mamtani informed.

The company is also planning to launch its upcoming interactive ultra short throw projector with laser camera.

Viewsonic has been in operation for 25 years, with solid channel relationships in many states.

"With DDMS being appointed as its distributor for monitor range and roll out already happening to vast untapped markets we shall be placed well for showing healthy growth. We believe we have the best market proposition and product range to support us to gain a leadership position in the 15" and above smart display market," Mamtani concluded.
