HP expanding its support services for customers in transition

In order to help its customers as they transition to the new style of IT HP has announced expanded consulting and support services. HP now offers new consulting services for software-defined infrastructure and new support services that help customers realize more agility and reliability from their infrastructure.

“IT organizations are at a unique intersection whereby they must keep top of mind day-to-day IT needs, yet continue to innovate with software-defined, hybrid and converged approaches for tomorrow’s infrastructure,” said Rajesh Dhar, senior director, Technology Services, HP India. “It’s absolutely critical that they have a partner like HP to guide them in making the right IT decisions for today and the future,” he added.

HP will soon announce new services for customers looking to adopt Software-Defined Infrastructure (SDI) to help meet their business objectives and transition to the new style of IT. This new SDI offering enables application teams to be more agile by giving them dynamic control of their infrastructure.

HP Technology Consulting Services offer an open, vendor-agnostic approach to help customers manage their dynamic IT environments using a unified view of both physical and virtual resources. The HP Datacenter Care–Infrastructure Automation offering provides support for the automation and management of IT infrastructure will also include now the addition of advanced monitoring into its multivendor support to help customers prevent problems within a wide variety of systems from third party vendors.

HP Flexible Capacity in addition will include support for the ConvergedSystem portfolio for SAP HANA, a massively scalable system that enables customers to manage and analyze extremely large and diverse data sets from a single system to facilitate real-time business decisions.
