Hummingbird partners with ISG for marketing its enterprise solutions

Hummingbird, developer of enterprise information management systems, has formed a strategic alliance with India Software Group (ISG), a part of KK Birla Group, to market its enterprise solutions for end-customers. The alliance would help Hummingbird to leverage ISG´s domain expertise of Hummingbird in verticals such as fertilizers, cement, shipping, manufacturing and financial services to offer enterprise content information management solutions for the Indian market. Jagannathan Vamanan, VP - Enterprise Applications, ISG says that this alliance would help large and medium-size enterprises to move to the ´ERP II´ stage with better quality of information getting available to top management. Business intelligence solutions will take the focus away from mere transaction processing to intelligent decision support.
