Intel certifies Transcend DDR266 SO-DIMMs

Transcend Information has been notified by Intel that Transcend Unbuffered

DDR266 SO-DIMMs and Transcend Unbuffered DDR333 DIMMs have been tested via the

Intel DDR validation program and found to be in compliance with the Intel DDR

validation specification. These memory modules are fully compatible with the

Intel 845D series of chipsets and reference systems.

The

objective of the Intel DDR validation program is to verify DDR SDRAM compliance

to the Intel DDR specifications so  as to provide a guideline for memory

compatibility with Intel chipsets. This validation is intended to demonstrate

supplier design and manufacturing capability. 

The validation process uses

standardized procedures and methodologies documented in the Intel DDR validation

specification.

Transcend assembles memory modules using strict material control and

manufacturing procedures to ensure that every Transcend memory module

distributed to a customer will provide a satisfactory user experience. In
