IT Kerala ‘02 begins Aug 1

IT Kerala 2002, Kerala’s most significant bi-annual IT event will be held

from August 1-4 here at Technopark. The theme for the event is ‘enabling

enterprise’ and it will comprise of an information communications technology (ICT)

exposition and an international convention. This is being held as a sequel to

the highly successful IT Kerala 2000 event organized two years ago.

IT Kerala 2002 will comprise of two specific windows of business

opportunities–Information communication & technology exposition -

Exploring opportunities in knowledge society and an international convention on

managing change in a techno-economy. Supported by modern infrastructure and

amenities, the ICT exposition will house stalls, conference suites and product

launch pads. The exposition will be spread over 5,000 square meters of

exhibition area, with participation from over 150 companies spanning the globe.

Government is expecting an attendance of over 20,000 trade visitors and nearly

200,000 general visitors
