Maxtor to provide HDDs for LG's 'My PC'

Maxtor Corporation has announced a tie-up with LG Electronics India to provide 40GB Fireball-3 hard disk drives for LG's

recently launched Linux-based PCs called 'My PC'.

The Maxtor Fireball 3 drive is the industry's first 40GB single-head / single-platter hard disk drive with an ultra ATA/133interface, providing

both value and performance.

Maxtor is working with leading OEMs in India, and is now looking at systems integrators to increase its

marketshare.
