Microtek launches a range of mice

Microtek International has introduced a range of new mice which are Windows

9x/NT compatible. The range includes a 4D optical mouse, a five-button browser

mouse and scroll mouse besides the regular entry-level three button mouse.

The "Aspire" 4D optical mouse with programmable buttons can be used

on different surfaces as it has a sensitive built-in sensor, which detects

motion on all kinds of surfaces, including wood and plastic. There is no need

for dust or lint cleaning as it does not have the usual mouse ball. Keyboard

simulation can be done through its buttons which can be programmed to perform

specific keyboard functions including Enter, Page Up, Page Down, F1, F2, and so

on.

The five-button "Desire" 4D browser mouse uses opto-mechanical

technology and comes with a silicon coated rubber ball. It has a rubber and

stepping wheel for easy scrolling and zooming with wheel life of 100 miles. It

comes with three programmable buttons and added features include auto scroll,

auto start menu move, zoom in, home pointer and keyboard simulation.

"Josh", the scroll mouse with a scroll wheel and "Joy",

the standard three button mouse are also a part of this new range. The products

are priced as follows: Aspire at Rs 750, Desire at Rs 400, Josh at Rs 250 and

Joy at Rs 125.
