The search giant Google has started letting some users search for songs in the search bar inside the Play Music app and play the song right from the search interface itself.

Inside the Google Play Music app, when users search for a song, album or an artist, the search results are shown as a dropdown as the user is typing. In the dropdown, the first three results show the artist, song or the album searched with an artwork on the left and the play button on the right. Tapping on the play button will immediately start the song or the album, while tapping on the artist will lead to a shuffle.

In the result dropdown, below these results are other related results. It has been mentioned that this search feature can be accessed from anywhere from inside the Play Music app.

A few days ago, Google made its New Release Radio feature available to all Google Play Music users. The feature inside the app was until now limited only to Samsung Galaxy S8 users. This feature takes into consideration the user's listening preferences and selects tracks, albums and more to keep users updated with new, relevant music. Both paid and free Play Music users can access the New Release Radio feature. It is available for users in India as well.
