Nebula Technologies, distributor of computer components in India, plans to
open offices in Guwahati and Ludhiana by early November this year. This moves
comes as the company's initiative to make its presence felt in B and C class
cities across India.
"Our focus areas for the current fiscal would be upcountry markets and
we are planning to invest in these markets in the coming months," says V
Sakthivel, Business Manager, Nebula Technologies. According to him, the
investment would be in terms of training programs, seminars and appointment of
representatives; apart from offering other promotional support to channel
partners. The company has also identified SOHO and SMEs in B and C class cities
as growing markets and plans to make inroads into this segment during this
fiscal.
During the past two years, Nebula Technologies claims to have made giant
strides by developing a branch network in all metros of India. "We have
also developed a network of representatives to serve the needs of smaller cities
in India," adds Sakthivel.
Nebula is also planning to rope in channel partners in the southern region to
strengthen its hold and reach. Nebula was also awarded as ‘Best Reach
Partner’ by Intel during its Channel Summit, which was held at Cochin
recently.
