Being a NetApp Unified Partner, Nextra Data will offer Cloud (private and hybrid) and MHS (Managed Hosting Services) built on NetApp’s FAS storage systems and NetApp’s Data ONTAP operating system. In addition to this, Nextra’s backup and recovery services will also be built on NetApp’s SnapVault.

“We take pride in building products and service offerings that provide end-to-end solutions. Together with NetApp, we will further work towards delivering the best to meet customer requirements, and SLA’s for Cloud and Managed Hosting Services,” said Neil Pollock, CEO, Nxtra Data.

Anil Valluri, president, NetApp India and SAARC Operations said “Partnering with industry leaders, such as Nxtra Data through the NetApp Alliance Partner Program, has been critical to the success of our growth in India. There is an increased demand for managed cloud hosting services which is why this collaboration is a key one. Our partnership with Nxtra Data will provide customers managed cloud hosting services that accelerate businesses in new markets.”

The NetApp FAS storage systems optimize memory and I/O bandwidth to provide superior performance while providing the network connectivity and capacity scaling. The NetApp FAS8000 storage systems provide an enterprise storage solution that enables a high return on investment and accelerates resource-intensive applications with hybrid flash arrays that give more than 2.6M IOPs of flash-integrated, low-latency performance.

NetApp’s operating system, clustered Data ONTAP, serves as a foundation for the hybrid cloud, speeding application response and agility. The software controls and manages enterprise data consistently and more efficiently with non-disruptive operations.
