Emerging Technologies giving growth

‘Emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain and Data Science have disrupted traditional systems and business operations across the world. Cloud and analytics being the underlying capabilities have helped accelerate access to these technologies. 2017 in India, witnessed a significant progress in terms of businesses embracing disruptive technologies across location and various sector to scale and create a differentiated business model.  In this client transformation journey, our Business Partners played a key role in helping not just transform their own business but also be an end-to-end solutions provider to our clients. In fact, our vision is to help partners emerge as true technology consultants instead of resellers.

As our clients continue to progress on the digital transformation path in 2018, Business Partners existing as well as new will play a key role in the evolving technology era.  We will continue to help partners innovate to build rich capabilities, solutions and services specifically around cognitive, cloud, security, IoT and Blockchain. In 2018, we will see more partners consulting clients on various cloud solutions as it offers a way to take advantage of all the new age technologies. Areas such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Product as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) will continue seeing momentum.

With our technology edge, we hope to further help business partners build a sustainable business model, redefine revenue streams and embark on the next level of digital transformation by harnessing the power of Cognitive and Cloud.

We foresee with the launch of IBM Cloud Private, our business partners with infrastructure services will have a greater role to play. We will further strengthen our business partner outreach initiatives to include new sectors, regions and technology upskilling.’
