TCS to act as solutions integrator for Citrix

Citrix Systems India has announced its alliance with Tata Consultancy Services

(TCS), a software and services consulting organization. Under this alliance, TCS would either resell Citrix products as stand-alone or provide

a total integrated solution to its end customers. 

The Citrix SI program is a new channel program designed for service-oriented partners who want to offer customers Citrix

products as an integrated part of their solutions and services. The SI channel would have a specific focus

on the top 100 enterprise accounts, and is chosen on the basis of geographic coverage, overall revenue level, Citrix support commitment and



certification. 

"TCS recognizes the tremendous potential for incorporating Citrix solutions

capability into vertical market solutions. Citrix's server-based solutions will help corporate in reducing total cost of ownership, improving

application access and performance, and simplifying administration, thereby increasing the return on investment," said Phiroze Vandrevala, Executive VP,

TCS. "Given our focus on providing total IT solutions to the Enterprise segment, this extended relationship with Citrix will help us enhance value

of our solutions to our customers", he added.
