Via unveils P4PB 266E motherboard

Via Technologies, Inc has announced the launch of Via P4PB 266E mainboard for

the Intel Pentium 4 processor platform.

This is the first motherboard from Via to feature the Via Apollo P4X266E

chipset.

The mainboard supports 2D/3D graphics performance of AGP4X, as well as has

features such as DDR266 SDRAM memory and six channel audio.

The six ports on the VIA P4PB 266E enable connectivity to all multimedia

devices and peripherals such as digital video cameras, MP3 players, scanners and

printers.

An onboard Smart Card connector enables implementation of PC Smart Card

reader solutions.
