VMware CTO Mazda Marvasti joins Corent as chair of product advisory

Corent Technology, a provider of SurPaaS, a Cloud Migration and Management platform, has named former VMware CTO Mazda Marvasti as the chairman of its Product Advisory Board.

Corent Technology, a provider of SurPaaS, a Cloud Migration and Management platform, has named former VMware CTO Mazda Marvasti as the chairman of its Product Advisory Board.

“With SurPaaS, CIOs can assess, Cloudify, and SaaSify their mission critical applications without spending thousands of coding hours to build what SurPaaS offers natively,” said Corent CEO Feyzi Fatehi.

Marvasti was most recently VP/CTO of Cloud Management unit at VMware. He arrived at VMware via the acquisition of Integrien where he was co-founder and CTO from 2005 to 2010. Prior, Marvasti was the CTO of LowerMyBills.com (acquired by Experian for $380M) where he built the initial team and launched the service to millions of daily users. Marvasti holds 23 patents on large scale data analytics will guide the company's platform priorities and direction.
