Owner of an online web portal, Visheshagya, Rashmi Khetrapal is a well known name in field of finance and accounting. Now devoting 16 years in this field, she is providing a virtual platform to reach best and qualified CA, CS and Lawyers.   

Digitizing legal world

Talking about her legal online portal Rashmi tells DQ Channel “After spending 16 years in the field of accounting and finance I could understand what difficulties experts and companies face in the existing scheme of affairs. While filling processes have been digitized by the government, small firms and standalone experts are still struggling to keep pace with this digitized world. And here IT comes to rescue. Visheshagya facilitates digital transformation, making it simpler, more profitable and convenient for both clients and experts.”

As a CEO of Visheshagya she plans her day/week well in advance, to ensure that every task is completed and is on schedule. “I have major deadlines for filing of Income tax returns, Service Tax returns, VAT, TDS returns to be filed on timely manner and there is no room for delays.”

Rashmi believes in hard work and honesty, and being a CA she is very fascinated that number of girls involving in this profession is growing fast, “CA, was one course, where after qualifying where ever I went people called me CA. I was no longer a male or female. CA gave me a respect in the society which was unparallel to any other profession. Where one hand I could fulfill my professional quest but still was able to maintain a work life balance. I meet very less female colleagues, although the number if growing fast. There are a lot of females who qualify with good marks but don't pursue the profession due to family constrains. Hence, my portal Visheshagya which gives them flexibility to work from home with flexible hours without comprising on the home life.”

 Competition in Online platform

“We have the first move advantage, as we are almost the pioneer in this field of white collared experts. We do have competition on the way that there were portals offering directories or legal service but none of them is offering direct expert interface in for a real time appointment or Video/Audio Consultation. My biggest advantage is my credit worthiness and respect among these experts.”

Family background

Sports loving person Rashmi has done her schooling from APJ School, Faridabad and completed her B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University, “We three sisters and two brothers are lucky to have such loving and progressive parents, who not only nourished us with love but also gave us freedom to excel in sports, music and studies equally. I am a single mother blessed with two lovely boys of 15 and 11 each. Both my sons Nilesh Khetrapal and Vishesh Khetrapal have been equally involved in the whole process of bringing the company where it is today. While Nilesh helps me with technology, social networking, etc and Vishesh is the in-charge for all the R&D which went into the product.”

Achievements

Rashmi has number of feathers in her hat, being a sporty person she was Haryana state level athlete for many years and best shooter while being in NCC (Air Wing). Being a career women, she was elected for first lady in NIRC in Institute history of 60 years in 2010, also she was elected as Chairperson of Gurgaon branch of ICAI for 2009 - 2010.

Activity on social front

Beside providing legal services, Rashmi has her hands on social sector also, she is running an NGO which is called Khetrapal Education & Charitable Trust, which provides educational aids to deserving students.

Wake up at: 5:00 am

Morning activities: 5:00 am to 7:00 am with my kids

Ist half in office: Office work and attend client meetings.

Post Lunch:  Income Tax/Service Tax /VAT Department Visits.

How you spend your evenings: Chilling out with my kids or watching late night movies or playing games with them.
