WinMagic, data security company, plans to increase the number of its channel partners from the current 35 to about 65-70 by next year. The company plans to achieve this by channel campaigns, distribution networks and by value-selling of their services.
“The distributor field and marketing team reaches the partners through on-field and marketing campaigns like – email blasts, tele calling campaigns and also spread the word about WinMagic’s capabilities and market expansion strategies through marketing initiatives and outreach. Regular webinars will be conducted to reach the larger partner base”, said Rahul Kumar, country manager & director, WinMagic.
The company will also be launching a cloud-service which will help customers secure data on cloud. Some of its significant clients are a consulting company, an insurance company and a farm equipment firm among others.
“We will be helping our customers secure data on cloud. It will be a consol for managing the entire encryption gamut. The company plans to launch this service sometime in the September-October period,”he stated. “The company’s goal is to have a growth of 150% in the number of end-user customer, top-of-the-line mindshare of our partners and to establish ourselves as a trusted encryption partner to our customers”, he added.
The company which has most of his clients from industries such as BFSI and the IT sector, will also be making an effort to focus on legal outsourcing. The company plans to set up a live support center in India, that will solve customer queries on phone and email. It will be set up by August this year. This centre would be located in India to service the Indian customers in their time zones
