ZyXEL Technology has rolled in Sanket Kulkarni as its new head, channel sales. In his new position, Kulkarni will leverage his 16-year experience to launch ZyXEL‘s channel sales to fresh heights.
Kulkarni possesses a rich experience in the channel sales segment as he has worked with major IT conglomerates like Espon, D-Link, Samsung and Digisol. Along with 13 years of working in India, Kulkarni has also worked for more than three years in Dubai when he was associated with BenQ.
Madhukar Swayambhu, VP, sales, apprised, "We are fortunate to have Sanket on board. His proven skills would certainly stimulate business growth and profit."
At ZyXEL, Sanket will be responsible for building up the channel sales in India and across SAARC region, including Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and Mauritius.
Commenting on his appointment, Kulkarni said "We have been an old team and would surely repeat the success again in ZyXEL.
Kulkarni would build up the distribution network across the region, starting from national distributors (ND) to regional distributors (RD), sub-stockiest and the last mile retail. Additionally he would also be focusing on LFRs, and online e-tailers. He will operate from Mumbai.
In 2013, ZyXEL's business has grown around 200% in India. The billion dollar worldwide IT manufacturing company is operational in India since 2006.
