With the pandemic situation, different sectors have witnessed severe effects, but there have been some campaigns to digitise-empower the MSMEs run by some corporate organisations. MSME sector to fight the current situation. Many daily provisions stores and small shopkeepers were struggling to earn their livelihood. The pandemic has highlighted the weaknesses in India’s small businesses. To curb the situation and strengthen our MSME sector,  following campaigns have been run to digitise-empower the MSMEs.

#We will come out Stronger - Paisabazaar

Digital marketplace for financial products, Paisabazaar has announced the launch of its new advertsement film, ‘We will come out stronger’. The film is dedicated to India’s MSME sector, which has been severely impacted by COVID-19 induced lockdown. The MSME segment contributes around 30% of India's GDP and is an integral part of the country's ecosystem. Paisabazaar has been working with the Bank and NBFC partners to make access to credit simpler and more convenient for India’s businesses.

#Inspiring Entrepreneurship Programme - Shopmatic

International E-commerce enabler Shopmatic has been unlocking online business success for MSMEs and individual entrepreneurs since its inception. In its latest drive to help businesses go online, Shopmatic is offering zero hosting charges to anyone signing up between 3rd June and 31st August 2021. As part of its “Inspiring Entrepreneurship Programme’ merchants will be able to use the entire Shopmatic platform for setting up their ecommerce presence without paying any sign-up charges, all they will pay is a nominal fee of 3% per transaction whenever they make a sale. This step is being taken to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners to take their business online, especially in these trying times. E-commerce is a strong strategy to digitise-empower the MSMEs.

#DilseLocal – Khatabook

Khatabook has released its latest #DilSeLocal campaign to honour and express support for the MSME community in India. The 5-day campaign, comprising a series of videos and a contest to honour the local stores, has been launched in the spirit of International MSME day on 27 June 2021.

Series of videos for the #DilSeLocal campaign reiterates that MSMEs have been the first responders of societal needs by being on the front line to ensure the supply of essentials.
