India's IT manufacture and its distribution business have undergone enormous transition, becoming increasingly organized over time. With time, there has been tremendous growth in the IT sector, thus making some OEMs and IT vendors big on a national level.

They are the OEMs' extended family and part of the Eco-system of every corporate's go-to-market strategy for providing an outstanding customer experience. A strong marketing network of distributors is the foundation of any product's success.  With tough competition in the PC industry, it is challenging for anyone to establish a foothold. Nonetheless, some IT companies and their exclusive distributors are doing an excellent job.

Microsoft: Microsoft is a multinational technology corporation that manufactures computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services. Microsoft has the third-highest worldwide brand valuation as of 2020. The National Distributor of Microsoft is Ingram Micro. With an extensive partner network across the country, Ingram Micro India is one of the leading IT distribution firms in the country. Ingram Micro assists companies in realizing the potential of technology. Another distributor of Microsoft is Savex; it has 39 sales offices and 42 stock locations and a sales staff of over 400 people and 7000+ partners spread across 700 cities.

Dell: Dell is well-known for producing, developing, and designing computers, laptops, and other electronic devices. Dell has been determined in India, opening exclusive storefronts in over 680 cities and establishing a solid presence in multi-brand and big format stores, networks, and e-commerce platforms. Redington India is the National Distributor for multinational information technology company Dell. Redington India, the country's second-largest distributor and has made every effort to maintain its position. Supertron Electronics Pvt. Ltd is another distributor of Dell; with a solid network of over 9000 retail points in India, the company operates through 35 branch offices and 18 satellite branches.

Lenovo: Personal computers, tablet computers, workstations, servers, supercomputers, electronic storage devices, IT management software, and smart televisions are designed, developed, manufactured, and sold by the company, which is the world's largest personal computer vendor by unit sales as of January 2021. Lenovo has also partnered with Ingram Micro as a distributor.  Enfo Tech India is a Lenovo regional distributor.

HP: HP created and sold a wide range of hardware, software, and related services to consumers, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), and major corporations, including customers in the government, health, and education sectors. Households, small to medium-sized organizations and corporations, internet distribution, consumer electronics, office supply stores; software partners; and prominent technology vendors were all served directly by the company. Ingram Micro is HP's National Distributor, with 160 countries and a customer base of nearly 200,000 retailers and IT resellers worldwide. Tech Data is another HP national distributor. Tech Data has offered logistics capabilities and value-added services in more than 100 countries efficiently and cost-effectively.

Samsung: Samsung is the world's largest consumer electronics company in terms of revenue. Samsung Electronics employs over 290,000 people and has assembly plants and sales networks in 74 countries. Foreign investors own the majority of the company. The corporation is also a big seller of tablets, particularly its Android-powered Samsung Galaxy Tab line. It is credited with pioneering the phablet market with its Samsung Galaxy Note line of smartphones. Acer: Acer Inc. is a multinational electronics and hardware company specializing in sophisticated electronics technologies. Desktop PCs, laptop PCs (clamshells, 2-in-1s, convertibles, and Chromebooks), tablets, servers, storage devices, virtual reality devices, displays, smartphones, peripherals, and gaming PCs accessories under the Predator brand are among the company's offerings. As of January 2021, Acer was the world's sixth-largest PC seller by unit sales. Acer's national distributors, Ingram Micro and SYNNEX, sustained the company's commercial/enterprise division as the company entered several government initiatives.
