Aam Aadmi Party politician joins Avekshaa Technologies

Former Infosys CFO and Aam Aadmi Party politician V. Balakrishnan has joined the advisory board of Avekshaa Technologies, a three-year-old startup which specialised in architecture-led IT consulting and solutions company firm.

With these announcements, the former CFO appears to be making firm inroads back into a corporate career, after a six-month long hiatus during which he contested Lok Sabha elections as a candidate from Bangalore Central constituency.

The company, started by three ex-Infoscions, will benefit from the ‘guidance and mentorship' of Balakrishnan, the company said.

Avekshaa Technologies said that Balakrishnan would play an active role, where he would support the CEO and board in complex decisions and support the company's international business growth plans.

"He will provide guidance on key financial matters, including guiding the company to implement sound financial management practices. He will validate and suggest improvement in the company strategy and suggest new ideas for rapid business growth," the company said.
