Abacus appointed sole distributor for ASRock motherboard

ASRock, a subsidiary of the motherboard giant Asus, has appointed Abacus Peripherals to exclusively distribute its ASRock brand of motherboards. Abacus will distribute six models of the vendor's motherboard, designed to support Intel and AMD processors. 

Tough ASRock motherboards are priced much lower than other Asus boards, the company official clarifies that it is in no way inferior to its high-end peers, in quality and performance. "The low price tag is to attract home-users and small business segments," says Sandeep Amin of Abacus. The product is priced in the range of Rs 2,900 to Rs 3,350.

Abacus will soon appoint star partners across the country to push the new motherboards. It will provide local warranty and technical support for ASRock through its five branch offices, across the country.

These motherboards come with USB 2.0 support and features both, SDRAM and DDR memory slots. The boards also feature universal CPU overheating protection, hyper threading, optional LAN port, onboard audio chip and 20-pin power connector.
