2007-08 is a first fiscal year for Accel Frontline as a subsidiary of $40
billion BT Group, which acquired 51 percent stakes in its equity. The
acquisition gave Accel the opportunity to address larger opportunities and BT in
turn got the necessary foothold in the IT infrastructure management business in
India.

After some major consolidations during the FY 2007-08, the company achieved a
solid growth of 43 percent as compared to the seven percent growth that it
achieved during the previous fiscal. Its revenue touched the Rs 314 crore mark,
making it the kingpin of the DQ Channels Silver Club for solution providers.

This year Accel grew organically by acquiring three important companies with
niche portfolios. It acquired the banking solutions company Telesis Global;
telecom solutions company Network Programs, earlier in the year; and recently
took over a warranty management services company XLNC Ltd. Since it has been a
long-standing provider of IT infrastructure solutions, during 2007-08 it bagged
several complex infrastructure implementation projects. Notable among them were
the mainframe class Sun E 25k servers for the SAP infrastructure and disaster
recovery center of the $900 million Jaypee Group.
