With a negative growth in its revenue, Accel ICIM managed to register agency revenues of Rs 95 crore during 02-03. This was in spite of the organizational restructuring and efforts to shift focus towards enterprise solutions.

The company however was appointed as one of the authorized service providers (ASP) for Benq last year. This helped the company pump-up its bottomline to a certain extent. Nonetheless, in the current fiscal Accel plans to capitalize on its expertise in the IT market, and sustain confidence levels among resellers. The company believes that this move will help Accel to clear its bottomline blues. Accel also plans to capitalize its wide-spread reach across India with its 28 service centers. 

On the projects front, Accel ICIM successfully completed implementation of the mission critical Message Exchange Server (MES) at the Directorate of Central Excise & Customs, spread across 23 locations in the country. This project was awarded to Accel ICIM amidst stiff competition from Wipro and CMC. The order worth Rs 47 million was one of the largest deals signed by Accel during FY 2002-03.

Apart from this, key contracts that were signed in 2002-03, included an order from Indian Airlines (IA) to provide complete facility management solutions at various airports and booking offices that fall under the state-run carrier's entire north region.
