Mumbai: Cisco and Accel have jointly made an announcement to establish its Linksys by Cisco Exchange Center in India. The new center provides end users with product exchange services in India.
As a part of this collaboration, Accel provides logistic support for Linksys by Cisco home networking products across eight cities (Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and New Delhi) directly and 30 cities through hub and spoke model.
Customers experiencing problems with a Linksys by Cisco product can call the Cisco Technical Support Hotline for troubleshooting assistance. If the product hardware is defective, and is still under warranty, the customer will be issued a Product Exchange ID to apply for a replacement unit. With this, customers can exchange the product for a replacement unit through one of the newly established Linksys by Cisco Exchange Centers in India.
Craig Gledhill, VP-Asia Pacific, Cisco Consumer Business Group said, "The Exchange Centers are set to bring our customer service in India to greater heights. In keeping with our development in the India market, Cisco will continue to enhance its customer service."

New Delhi: Xerox India announced an interesting reward scheme for its tier-3 channel partners. The reward scheme is valid on its top selling models-Xerox WorkCenter 3119 and Xerox WorkCenter PE 220 and provides an opportunity for the channel partners (VARs and system resellers) to take home gifts like 4GB pen drive, branded wrist watch and a premium pen. The scheme is valid till Feb 28, 2009.
The scheme entitles tier-3 channel partner to win a free 4GB pen drive/unit when he purchases 1-5 units of these two machines. They can also win a branded wrist watch/unit on purchase of 6-10 units of the machines or a premium pen on the purchase of more than 10 units of the machine.
Talking about the scheme, Princy Bhatnagar, Director-Office Business Group, Xerox said, "These are challenging times for all of us, owing to the global recession. It is therefore important for us to encourage and reward our channel partners at all times, as they are the back-bone of our business. This scheme is also aimed at motivating our tier-3 partners, and encouraging and supporting them to sell better. The scheme will ultimately help Xerox improve sales of its A4 multi-functional devices."
