ACE acknowledges its members

Ludhiana: Ludhiana-based Association of Computer Entrepreneurs held a general body meeting at Lodhi Club on Jan 16. While discussing the success stories of the association during the previous year Rajan Vohra, Joint Secretary, ACE, highlighted the achievements, which included the recovery and settlement of inter-dealer dispute to the tune of Rs 1 crore last fiscal, also vendors' disputes were settled and Wipro banned for sometime in the region. ACE took 25 of its members to Bangkok, there was a cricket match sponsored by C&C Magazine, also ACE rejoiced at the addition in the funds which has went up from Rs 10,000 in March to about two lakh as of now.

Deciding on the actions for the year ahead, Ankur Gupta, PRO, ACE informed that the association has decided to go hand in hand with Microsoft and all dealers were given a clear communication that everyone has to sell original products. “ACE has committed an annual figure to Microsoft and same shall be equally distributed to all members on month to month basis. This work will be done on zero tolerance basis and those not going in accordance to ACE will immediately lose the membership,” he said.

G Gurpreet Singh, President of ACE further discussed about the future action plans and announced that it plans to hold cricket matches on regular basis, arrangement of local and foreign trips, ACE local representatives and the new office of the association. Parveen Dua of Microsolution, Paramjit Singh Juneja of Secant Technologies, Rohit Sabharwal, Anti Corruption President, PS Bedi of Creative Softwares were presented with Appreciation Awards by Naveen Bama, General Secretary, Bama Infotech for bringing good name to ACE, Ludhiana.
