Acer intros 3D notebook, powered by Windows 7

New Delhi: Acer introduced a 3D notebook into the Indian PC market. “The future of 3D is firming up across all shores and we are proud to bring that technology alive in India and go mainstream. The day is not far off before consumers realize the true potential of Stereoscopic 3D. We believe this will enable a whole new world order within the mobile computing arena and change the way consumers experience technology,” said WS Mukund, MD Acer India.

The inematic-style 3D home theater allows the user to both enjoy and share 3D movies and photos. Real-time 2D-to-3D playback convert technology enables the viewing of any video, DVDs, pictures and games as virtual 3D output. The 5738D series exhibits superior mobile performance powered by the Intel processor technology and has 4GB of DDR3 1066 MHz dual-channel memory.

The Aspire 5738D series of 3D notebooks comes in two flavors-one on the Pentium dual core platform and the other on the Core2Duo platform. The Aspire 5738DzG (PDC) is available starting at Rs 43,500 plus taxes.
