Acer intros PCs for SOHO

Acer India has announced the launch of Acer Aspire IE-3216 and Acer Aspire
IE-3460 for the design conscious home user in India. These PCs come bundled with
a 19-inch wide TFT display and speakers to enhance the viewing and listening
experience.

The Acer Aspire IE-3216 is powered by the top of the line Intel Pentium
dual-core processor E2160 (1.8GHz) and the Acer Aspire IE-3460 is power-driven
by Intel core2 duo desktop processor E4600 (2.4GHz). The systems is equipped
with a system memory of 1GB RAM DDR2 which can be up graded to 2GB for enhanced
performance and 160GB SATA hard disk drive at 7200RPM.

Targeted at the home user, both machines comes equipped with a 16x DVD-R/W
super-multi drive that enables viewing and burning of DVDs, listening to music
and storing huge amounts of data which are pre-requisites for the target
customer. An interesting feature from a usage perspective are the eight USB
ports that have Neon LED lighting (in front for super convenience) to enable
interfacing with variety of other I/O devices.

Aspire IE-3460 is available at Rs 25,999 plus taxes and Aspire IE-3216 is
available at a price of Rs 22,999 plus taxes.
