Acer launches "SMS dealer locator"

Acer India has announced a new initiative for customers to help find the
closest Acer authorized retailer in their location through an SMS dealer locator
system.

Customers can now use the SMS Locator to find the closest Acer malls and Acer
points by just sending an SMS to 53030. Acer also
provides its customers the option of availing a list of all the Acer branded
stores in their city by typing on their mobile phones and sending
it to 53030.

S. Rajendran, GM - Sales and Marketing, Mobility and Display Products Group,
Acer India, said, "The SMS dealer locator is designed at making it easier
for customers to own an Acer product by helping them get to the nearest Acer
brand store with minimum effort".

The 'SMS Dealer Locator' facility is a first of its kind in the PC market and
is being offered to Acer's customers across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai,
Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahemdabad, Chandigarh and Jaipur.
