Acer unveils Aspire SA 60 PC

Acer launched its Aspire SA 60 series based on Intel's latest Pentium 4
Processor technology. It is the latest introduction to Acer's range of home
PCs and uses the Pentium 4 Processor 2.8GHz (533 MHZ FSB) chipset for increased
power. With system memory of 256 MB DDR RAM and storage capacity of 80GB HDD,
the Aspire SA 60 has an integrated 10/100 Network Integrated Card (NIC), CD
writer drive, Internet and MM ready keyboard, optical mouse, 56 Kbps Data/Fax/
internal modem, on board sound and graphics.

Using the Linux operating system, the Aspire SA 60 has a 15" silver and
black combo TFT monitor with in-built speakers. The TFT technology with MPRII
Certification is safe for children, even for extended periods of viewing movies
or playing games. Available at Rs 29,999 Acer will also give a Powertainment CD
gift pack of 11 CDs worth Rs 3,000, containing encyclopedias for children,
advanced puzzle games for adults and a host for thrilling games and movies like
Mowgli, Lord of the Rings and Munna Bhai MBBS.
