ACMA elects new committee members

Ahmedabad Computer Merchants' Association (ACMA) recently concluded its
annual elections and has announced the names of the new committee members. While
Kaushik Pandya of Kalp Systems is the new President, Kirti Thakkar of Meet
Marketing has been appointed as the VP; Rakesh Patel of Datatech Computers is
the General Secretary and Chetan Dalal of Mauli Trading has been appointed as
Treasurer.

Expressing his happiness on the occasion, Pandya said, “I am delighted to
be elected as the president of the association. ACMA's new office bearers and
executive committee has been formed to continue the growth of the association.”

Apart from the new committee members, ACMA also decided on the agenda for the
year. The association plans to organize an IT expo this year to increase ACMA's
membership and awareness in the IT trade as well as in public. “ACMA would
also be printing a directory for the year 2008-09, along with publishing
end-user policy and guidelines,” added Pandya.

The association also announced that it would be educating its members on a
weekly basis.
