Telecom tower company Tower Vision has deployed ACME’s Li-ion based Energy Storage solution. The deployment also marks ACME’s entry into Indian market.

Samir Sharan, chief executive officer, ACME said: “This solution is the future of energy storage and holds great prospects for high energy-consuming sectors like telecom, realty, renewables and many more. This will help users to eliminate their diesel generators and cut down on the carbon footprint.”

The storage solution will grab 50% share globally in the energy storage segment by 2020, a statement from ACME. Energy storage application can provide 20-25% of annual savings in current fuel cost to the operators.
