ACTA hosted its meet in association with PACT at Amritsar on 3rd of Dec 2022. The meet was presided over by Gurpreet Singh Jagdev, President PACT. It was held under the Chairmanship of Sunny ji, Chairman, PACT. General Secretary Supreet Ji was moderator.
The ACTA meet began with welcome address by Vikas Narang, President, ACTA. Motivation words were offered by Sunny ji, Chairman PACT.
Gurpreet Singh, Premier, PACT who was nomineed to FAITTA as VP Brand Coordination, briefed about efforts and initiatives under his purview. Devinder Mahendra, Treasurer gave financial statement. Gurpreet Singh Jagdev, President, briefed about the activities in last 6 months and vision ahead.
Following were noted -
- The Chandigarh Expo achievement with PACT team done with CCTA, a major success.
- The settling of a dispute by PACT amounting to over 1.5CR in bill to ship to fraud.
- The Kochi Gates summit and Cricket representation by PACT Chandigarh and PACT Ludhiana teams and big countdown to Gates Event at Jaipur next year where 20 teams are to participate.
- The upcoming events, vision and plans including some planned fixtures. One of them is cricket tournament.
- The proposal to work on PACT nominated awards in prime categories.
- The need and plan to have an outstation GB in hills.
Considering the sentiment of market and scenerio therein, a high power PACT Grievance Committee was formed that will work closely with City Grievance Associations to sort out issues of wilful defaulters that has been plagueing the market.
PACT has asked Cities to form City Grievance Committees by 20 Dec 2022, failing which the President and Gen Sect of that city will be considered as Grievance Committee of the City.
This mechanism of coordination between CGC (City Grievance Committee) and PGC (PACT Grievance Committee) will work in coordination on case to case basis. The first point of dispute is the be addressed by CGC and will be addressed to PGC incase of failure or been approached by City President to PACT.
PACT Advisory was also issued to IT Dealers across the region to avoid taking risk for sending material by bus.
